개인정보 처리방침
(이하 "회사")는 「개인정보 보호법」에 따라 GnarlyKey 이용자의 개인정보를 보호하고 관련 고충을 신속하게 처리하기 위해 다음과 같이 개인정보 처리방침을 둡니다.
1. 처리하는 개인정보 항목과 목적

회사가 이용하는 AI 서비스는 유료 기업용 서비스로, 이용자의 텍스트를 AI 학습에 사용하지 않습니다.
2. 보유 및 이용 기간
- 회원 정보와 서비스 이용 기록: 회원 탈퇴 시까지
- 품질 개선용 텍스트(선택): 이용자가 동의를 철회하거나 데이터를 삭제할 때까지
- 다만 관련 법령에 따라 다음 정보는 정해진 기간 동안 보관합니다.
- 계약 또는 청약철회, 대금 결제 및 재화 공급에 관한 기록: 5년 (전자상거래법)
- 소비자 불만 또는 분쟁 처리에 관한 기록: 3년 (전자상거래법)
- 웹사이트 방문 기록: 3개월 (통신비밀보호법)
3. 개인정보의 제3자 제공
회사는 이용자의 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 다만 법령에 따라 요구되는 경우는 예외로 합니다.

5. 개인정보의 국외 이전
서비스 제공을 위해 아래와 같이 개인정보를 국외로 이전합니다. 이전은 이용자가 단축키를 누르거나 결제할 때 암호화된 네트워크로 이루어집니다.

국외 이전을 원하지 않으시면 서비스 이용을 중단하고 계정을 삭제할 수 있습니다. 다만 텍스트 처리는 서비스의 핵심 기능이므로, 이 경우 서비스를 이용할 수 없습니다.
6. 개인정보의 파기
보유 기간이 끝나거나 처리 목적이 달성된 개인정보는 지체 없이 파기합니다. 전자 파일은 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 삭제합니다. 회원 탈퇴 시 계정과 이용 기록, 저장된 텍스트, 설문 답변이 즉시 삭제되며, 장애 복구용 백업에 남은 사본은 최대 35일 후 자동으로 삭제됩니다. 법령에 따라 보관해야 하는 정보는 별도로 분리해 보관한 뒤 기간이 지나면 파기합니다.
7. 정보주체의 권리와 행사 방법
이용자는 언제든지 자신의 개인정보 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 정지를 요구할 수 있습니다.
- 앱의 설정 › 계정에서 품질 개선용 텍스트 보관을 끄거나, 계정과 모든 데이터를 삭제할 수 있습니다.
- 그 밖의 요청은 [email protected]으로 보내 주시면 10일 이내에 처리 결과를 알려 드립니다.
- 법정대리인이나 위임받은 사람을 통해서도 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.
8. 개인정보의 안전성 확보 조치
- 전송 구간 암호화(HTTPS)와 저장 데이터 암호화(AWS KMS)
- 개인정보에 접근할 수 있는 권한의 최소화와 접근 기록 보관
- 로그인 정보는 앱이 운영체제의 보안 저장소(Windows 자격 증명 관리자, macOS 키체인)에 보관
- API 키와 비밀번호의 별도 암호화 보관
9. 쿠키 등 자동 수집 장치
웹사이트는 쿠키나 광고·분석 추적 도구를 사용하지 않습니다. 이용자가 선택한 언어만 브라우저 저장소에 보관하며, 브라우저 설정에서 언제든 삭제할 수 있습니다.

12. 처리방침의 변경
이 처리방침을 변경하면 시행 7일 전부터 웹사이트에 공지합니다.
Privacy Policy
("we") operates GnarlyKey. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your choices.

We use the AI providers' paid business services, under terms that don't allow them to train their models on your text.
2. How long we keep it
- Account and usage records: until you delete your account.
- Optional quality-improvement text: until you turn it off or delete your data.
- As required by Korean law: records of contracts, cancellations, payments and delivery for 5 years; complaint and dispute records for 3 years; website access records for 3 months.
3. Sharing
We don't sell or give your personal information to third parties, except where the law requires it.
4. Service providers that process data for us
- Amazon Web Services (Seoul region): servers, data storage, sign-in
- Cloudflare: website and downloads
- Paddle.com: payments, receipts and refunds, as our reseller (Merchant of Record)
- Anthropic, Google, OpenAI: rewriting your text with AI
5. International transfers
To provide the Service, the text you rewrite is sent over an encrypted connection to Anthropic PBC, Google LLC or OpenAI, L.L.C. in the United States when you press a hotkey; your email and payment details go to Paddle.com Market Ltd in the United Kingdom when you buy; and website access logs are processed by Cloudflare, Inc. in the United States. Each keeps data according to its own policy [to confirm: retention periods]. If you don't want this, you can stop using the Service and delete your account; rewriting text is the core of the Service, so it can't be used without it.
6. Deletion
When you delete your account, your account, usage records, stored text and survey answers are deleted immediately; copies in disaster-recovery backups are erased automatically within 35 days. Records the law requires us to keep are stored separately and deleted when that period ends.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal information at any time. In the app, Settings › Account lets you turn off text storage and delete your account and all data. For anything else, email [email protected]; we'll respond within 10 days.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (AWS KMS). Access is limited to what's needed and logged. The app keeps your sign-in in your operating system's secure storage (Windows Credential Manager, macOS Keychain).
9. Cookies
The website uses no cookies and no advertising or analytics trackers. It only remembers your language choice in your browser's storage, which you can clear at any time.
